Museums and exhibitions

Models are useful tools to show information to the public. They provide information much faster then maps and are easier to understand. Furthermore, they can be viewed from different angles from a whole group of persons at the same time. So, models were ideal for showing geographically located items in exhibitions, if there would not be the large amount of space models require.
